What I do?

My goal is to support, empower, and encourage women during their pregnancy journey from the 1st trimester through the 4th trimester. ( Eight Weeks Postpartum)

Why?

Support during  and after pregnancy is important for many reasons. It can reduce stress which can impact a mother to be's health negatively. Supporting a woman during her pregnancy journey will help her make healthy decisions for herself and for her baby. What a mother goes through while pregnant has an affect on her unborn child. My goal is to help build confidence and trust. To help expectant and new moms  know and understand that they do have a voice!  Everything they need is within them to succeed during this pregnancy and into motherhood!

Pregnancy Health Coach

My name is Tiffany Underwood 

I've been in OB-GYN Care since 2005. During these years I've had both personal and professional experiences which have made me care more and more about women and what we go through during pregnancy. Support during this time is so important. This motivated me to learn as much as I could about how we are affected during this time (from things like depression, lack of knowledge, poor prenatal care, and lack of family support) and how I can help those around me never feel alone. 

I became a certified medical assistant in 2005 and started out in reproductive health. I've had the privilege to work with some amazing providers and I've learned so much. I was even a patient educator for a few years, educating women about their bodies and their options when it came to parenting. I went on the obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and  Master's Degree in Healthcare Management. I knew I wanted to be in patient care but I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do. I still had this intense feeling inside of me to stick with women's health, mainly prenatal and postnatal care. 

This inspired me to attend Dr. Sears Wellness Institute to get a more in depth understanding of nutrition and lifestyle and how it affects women during pregnancy. So here I am! Ready to support, empower, and encourage you!
